Amanda Bolton

Dr Amanda Bolton is a senior clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience working with adolescents and their families as well as adults recovering from an eating disorder in both public and private settings. Amanda is the co-partner of Eating Disorders Training Australia, providing professional development training and workshops in the area of eating disorders and body image.

Amanda also owns her own private practice, Inner Sanctuary Psychology. Amanda spent many years working at the Butterfly Eating Disorder Day program as both a clinician and as the senior clinician coordinator of the program, providing group therapy treatment and meal support to young people with eating disorders. Amanda has also worked at the Monash Health eating disorder outpatient service (Wellness and Recovery Centre) and private practice.

Amanda has extensive experience delivering individual treatment (CBT-E, SSCM, DBT and schema therapy), family focused treatment, and group therapy. Amanda works from a trauma informed, weight inclusive, non-diet approach. Amanda is also a board approved supervisor and provides professional supervision to other psychologists and mental health clinicians.
