Rachel is a psychologist with 23 years of experience. She holds a Masters in Organisational Psychology and her PhD research looked at professional burnout (2006).
Prior to 2012, Rachel consulted to a range of community, government and private organisations facilitating conflict management, leadership development, psychometric profiling, executive coaching, and culture change. Rachel continues her organisational consulting to this day, while also providing a supportive professional nesting-box for her large team of private practice clinicians.
In a ‘previous life’, Rachel was a primary school teacher in a ‘tough school’. She ran quite quickly back to psychology! She now has three teenage children, a naughty cat, a mild book-buying addiction, and performs stand-up comedy occasionally. Although very serious about her profession and the topic of leadership in mental health, Rachel likes to crack a joke almost every chance she gets.
